"Daymoon" Original Painting

Original artwork on 7x10” pressed cotton watercolor paper in an 11x14” mat.

Watercolor painting created trailside under a day moon, finished with colored pencil. 

The moon was still glowing from the night before and the red leaves in the distances created a moody tunnel of color and light. 

This series celebrates the opening of the Ecusta Trail, a pedestrian pathway that connects Horse Shoe to Hendersonville, NC.
